Hi, my name is Dr Warick Bishop, and I'd like to tell you a little bit about a condition called dilated cardiomyopathy. Well, that's a mouthful, but it basically means a large heart that's not working properly. Well, these large hearts don't work properly can sometimes get better with time and without medications. And the question then becomes, can we stop those medications? Will a really neat study done relatively recently called trend H F tells us that if we stop the medications in these people, who've had a big baggy heart that doesn't work well, that's then recovered, that about 30% revert back to the problem. That's just too many. So the answer is we stay on these medications for life to protect that heart.

If you'd like some more information on that, I've done a podcast with more details. So please have a listen and enjoy that information. Till next time. I wish you the very best. Good health and bye for now.
