Hi, My name is Dr Warrick Bishop and welcome to my Healthy Heart Minute. Today, a quick word about cardiac failure. It's a really common condition that affects several hundred thousand people in Australia. And when the heart fails, it can fail by being big and baggy and not contracting properly. But it can also fail by being what appears to be a normal size, but not relaxing properly. So it's a really complicated condition with lots of things going on and lots of medications involved.
