Hi, my name is Dr Warrick Bishop and welcome to my Healthy Heart Minute. Today, a quick minute on yoga and cardiac failure.

Well, we know yoga is great for flexibility. It's great for calming the mind. But does it help in cardiac failure? Well, we think it does. We know that it can turn down the autonomic nervous system, the sympathetic fight and flight nervous system, and it can up regulate the more controlled parasympathetic nervous system. We've got a little bit of information that supports yoga being beneficial for cardiac failure. We know it's also helpful for atrial fibrillation. We know it's great for stretching. We know it's good for mood. We know it's just a good thing all around.

So limber up if you're interested. Have a listen to the podcast below which has more detail. For now, however, I'm going to wish you the very best. Take care and bye for now.
