Hi, my name is Dr Warrick Bishop and welcome to my Healthy Heart Minute. This one is all about cholesterol.

Well, what is it? Well, it's a simple hydrocarbon and the reason we need it is it's a building block for cell membranes. We also need it to help with our bile, which is the way we digest and move fats in or out of the gut. And lastly, cholesterol is also used for hormone synthesis or making some of the hormones within the body.

Well, it turns out I had the chance to be involved in a radio interview where I covered a whole lot of that detail. And that interview is one of my podcasts. And the link to that is below. I think you'll find it an interesting, interesting and entertaining listen. So please click on the link and check it out. I'm going to wish you the very best. Look after your cholesterol. Look after yourself. Take care and bye for now.
